Coorymoor Farms, located in East Devon, England, produces my favorite sock. Their Angora goats produce fine, lustrous, Kemp-free mohair fleece. (Kemp is a short thick fiber which makes poor quality mohair itchy). Mohair is known as the “Diamond Fiber” for its luster, strength and durability. Unlike sheep’s wool, mohair fibers are smooth and don’t trap bacteria so the socks don’t get smelly. I machine wash and dry my socks with the rest of the laundry and they don’t shrink. They keep my feet really warm and last for years. We sell 2 sizes to meet everyone’s needs and they come in black (of course), gold, ultra purple, forest green and hot pink. These socks will definitely not be a disappointing stocking stuffer this holiday season.
